Cadence Allegro

Production proven, scalable, and robust solutions with broad ecosystem supports

Cadence® Allegro® design solutions are a complete, scalable, proven PCB design environment for addressing today's design challenges and manufacturability and predictability concerns. The design solution contains everything needed to take a PCB design from concept to production with a fully integrated design flow, including design creation, component tools, a PCB Editor, and an auto/interactive router, as well as interfaces for manufacturing and mechanical CAD. Allegro PCB Design suites offer a common database architecture, common, consistent Constraint Management solution, and a seamlessly integrated front to back design flow, with the scalability to expand as designs and design challenges increase in complexity. The Allegro PCB Design solution can result in increased productivity, shorter design cycles, and faster ramp up to volume production.

Cadence Allegro certified for ISO 26262 Standard

"By providing pre-certified documentation, Cadence is greatly reducing the effort needed for customers to achieve their certification goals. Customers appreciate the flexibility and expediency that this approach allows. Partnering with TÜV SÜD on the flow-level certification of our documentation and the creation of the new 'Fit for Purpose - TCL1' certification mark demonstrates our commitment to the automotive market and support for semiconductor manufacturers, OEMs and component suppliers that are working to gain an edge with their respective solutions. The IPC-2581 standard

IPC-2581 is a generic standard for printed circuit board assembly products' manufacturing description data and transfer methodology. Developed in 2004 by IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industry, IPC-2581 is used for transmitting information between a printed circuit board designer and a manufacturing or assembly facility. For nearly every step in the industrial process flow, IPC-2581 offers a standard to help companies ensure superior manufacturability, quality, reliability and consistency in electronics assemblies built for their products. Cadence is a member of the IPC consortium.
